So I’m reviewing The Berenstain Bears’ Trouble with Money by Stan and Jan Berenstain today.
I don’t think I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the others because it left some thinking to the readers and at 4, I was not very patient with books that made me think. Looking back now, I don’t think I understood the concept of money yet, so it was a bit hard to read. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a wonderful book, but I think I was a bit too young when I read it. Now when I read it, I find parts of the book hilarious, like when Brother and Sister Bear imagine Papa Bear actually made of money. It was a lovely book, and I love the illustrations.
